Offer communication

The specific language used to communicate a product’s promoted price.

The specific language used to communicate a product’s promoted price. Offers can be either suggested multiples, such as 2 for $5 where the shopper pays $2.50 per unit whether they buy 1 or two, or a complex offer that requires a shopper to buy a specific amount of product. An example of a complex offer would be a Must-Buy 2 for $5 else $3.99, in this example, the shopper would pay $3.99 if they bought one, or $2.50 per unit if they bought 2. For a complex offer, the promoted price would be the blended price that accounts for the percentage of shoppers that took advantage of the deal and bought the required quantity versus those that paid the full price.
