A consumer product good is similar to a fast-moving consumer good in that it encompasses a range of verticals that are sold for relatively low price points (in comparison with other retail industries like fashion or luxury), and includes products like toilet paper, oat milk, nail polish, and cat food – in other words, the kind of goods you buy during your weekly shopping trip. A CPG company usually refers to the manufacturer of consumer product goods (CPG).
