Brand development index (BDI)


BDI or Brand development index measures the percent of sales for a product in a given market versus the percent of the US population in that market.

A high BDI index indicates a market with strong demand and consumption for a given product. Use BDI in conjunction with CDI (Category Development Index) to identify optimal markets for incremental support.
