This is the number of weeks when a given product was on an in-store display outside of the everyday shelf. Displays are used by retailers to communicate savings to their shoppers in-store and to try and encourage shoppers to build bigger baskets with more items. When looking at Display weeks across an aggregated geography you will see the average weighted display weeks. For example, let’s take two equally sized retailers, if one had the product on display and the other did not, the Display weeks of support for that product in that week would be 0.5.
